Overview
You can access your Davenport email on your iOS or Android smart phone using the instructions below.
Instructions
iPhone
- Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
- Tap Add Account, then select your email provider. (DMail and Panthermail are Google accounts)
- Enter your email address. (username@davenport.edu if you are faculty or staff, or username@email.davenport.edu if you are a student)
- This should redirect you to Davenport's central authentication page, log in with your username and password.
- You may have to tap 'Next' or 'Save' to finalize the account add process. It will now appear in your iOS Mail app.
- If you would prefer to add the account to a different mail app such as GMail, follow the instructions below for an Android device.
Android
- Open the GMail app
- Open the settings by tapping on the 3 Line button in the top left, then tap Settings (you may have to scroll down)
- Tap 'Add account' then tap 'Google'
- Enter your Davenport University email then tap 'Next' (username@davenport.edu if you are faculty or staff, or username@email.davenport.edu if you are a student)
- This should redirect you to Davenport's central authentication page, log in with your username and password.
- You may have to select Next or Continue again to complete the account add process.
