Accessing DMail or Panthermail from your smartphone

Overview

You can access your Davenport email on your iOS or Android smart phone using the instructions below.

Instructions

iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
  2. Tap Add Account, then select your email provider. (DMail and Panthermail are Google accounts)
  3. Enter your email address. (username@davenport.edu if you are faculty or staff, or username@email.davenport.edu if you are a student)
  4. This should redirect you to Davenport's central authentication page, log in with your username and password.
  5. You may have to tap 'Next' or 'Save' to finalize the account add process. It will now appear in your iOS Mail app.
    • If you would prefer to add the account to a different mail app such as GMail, follow the instructions below for an Android device.

Android

  1. Open the GMail app
  2. Open the settings by tapping on the 3 Line button in the top left, then tap Settings (you may have to scroll down)
  3. Tap 'Add account' then tap 'Google'
  4. Enter your Davenport University email then tap 'Next' (username@davenport.edu if you are faculty or staff, or username@email.davenport.edu if you are a student)
  5. This should redirect you to Davenport's central authentication page, log in with your username and password.
  6. You may have to select Next or Continue again to complete the account add process.
