This article will go over how to reset your password using the self service password reset tool. This will also change your password for logging in on Davenport University workstations.
1. Click on the 'Forgot your Password' link at any Davenport University login screen, or go directly to it here https://password.davenport.edu.
2. On the password reset site, you will see a login screen. Click the 'Forgotten Password' button. If you are able to login to your account, you can login here and change the password directly without sending a password reset email.
3. Enter your username on the Forgot Password screen and click 'Search'
4. Select 'Continue'
5. Click on the link sent to the email mentioned earlier from 'Forgotten Password' with a subject line of 'Forgotten Password Verification' If the link does not work, you will see that below it there is a code which you can copy and enter into the box on the password reset site. You may have to send out a new reset and use the code first if you have already clicked the link. If the link and code do not work, please give us a call at 1-877-899-1499 and we can manually reset your password.
6. Type in your new password and select 'Change Password'
7. Wait for the progress bar to finish. You should see a message 'The password has been changed successfully.' Click Continue and login with your new password.
