Blackboard Ultra Overview
Follow the instructions below to submit a file attachment which Blackboard Ultra supports a wide range of standard document, image, audio, video, and archive file formats.
If you are submitting a pre-recorded video either with a phone or other device, please follow the second set of instructions below.
Instructions
- Locate the assignment (which is usually under 'Weekly Materials' on the main sidebar)
- Pick the week that you completed the assignment for. Under that week will be various assignments and tests listed depending on the agenda for that week.
- Click on the title for the assignment you want to upload and this will bring up a new window.
- The current window will display the name of the assignment, instructions, due date and points possible for the assignment. To write your response now, click the blank line in the text editor to open open the editor and have it display the icons.
- To upload a document, click on the Paper Clip icon and select your file to be uploaded and click "Open" as shown below:

- Select the blank line for the Text Editor to open up the text box.
- Click on the Camera icon at the far right that looks like the icon below:
- Click on the "Upload from device" button at the bottom as shown below and select your video file to submit and click Open:
