Overview
You may occasionally have to submit a video that you have recorded with Kaltura in your course. The most common places they are posted are in a discussion board or for an assignment. Instructions for both are listed below.
Your course may be in either Blackboard Ultra or Blackboard Original format. Please visit this link to determine which format yours is in if you are unsure, before reviewing the steps below.
Instructions
Blackboard Ultra Instructions
Assignment Submission
1. Click on the 'Click to add text or drag and drop files here' box located on the assignment submission page and the editor box will open up.

2. Inside this new text box is a toolbar. To add your Kaltura video you will want to click on the 'Insert Content' button which looks like a circle with a plus sign in it.

3. On the Content Market menu, select 'Kaltura Media LTI 1.3.' You may have to scroll down on this screen to see it.

4. This will open your Kaltura Media Gallery from where you can select your video. Once selected, it will place the video in the textbox and you are ready to submit. Note that playing the video inside the submission box may show an error, and we do not recommend previewing the video here before submitting your assignment. If you would like to preview a recording, please visit your Kaltura My Media page by going to https://davenport.blackboard.com/ click Tools on the left and open Kaltura My Media.
Discussion Board
The instructions for posting in the Discussion Board are the same as the Assignment section above, but you will click on the box that says "Type a response" to open the editor instead and follow step 2 above.
